Last weekend I met my best friend in Syracuse for a weekend of quilting.
Our goal was to make quilts for her twin girls....
She is relatively new to quilting so even more fun!

I'd say we were a bit ambitious for the time allotted!It was wonderful just to get to visit over a few meals and chat about
our little peeps and sew into the night...
She is going to work on the rest of the piecing and
our hope is that we will get together in the fall to do the actually quilting!

sounds like a perfect weekend to me! i love the quilt so far.
oh what fun you must have had! I love scheduling time for being creative... I have some BIG scrapbooking days coming up that I just can't wait for!
