QUILT TOUR, Part 6

While visiting my parents over the weekend, I snapped a few shots of
the quilts I've given them as gifts over the past few years!
I made this for my Santa collecting mom
for Christmas in 2005!
It is a Buggy Barn pattern.
In October of 2001 my Auntie B. came
to see me while I was still living in Illinois.
We made several of these winter Angels
together. This is the project she used
to teach me how to applique!
Thanks Auntie B.!
I think I ended up giving to my mom
for Christmas that year.
(I gave one to my Mother-in-law
and kept one for myself too.)

I made this little WELCOME for my mom in 2004, (I think).

This is one of my favorite things I've ever made.

Ever just have so much fun making something?

Auntie B. & I worked together on this one
for my parents' bed for their birthdays one year.
It is another Buggy Barn pattern. We just love those!

This is one of my early quilts. I made this for my parents

for Christmas in 2002. The larger hearts represent my

parents and their three children, and the smaller hearts

represent their 8 grandchildren.

I think this is a Thimbleberries pattern.

I made this quilt for my dad for Christmas in 2004.

It's a Thimbleberries quilt too.

I made this for my parents' 35th anniversary

in 2006.

Happy Hobbies!

my goodness, you have made a lot of quilts! I love that you gave a lot of them away. Is it hard for you to part with them sometimes? You do a fantastic job.
